AEX Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our team!

We are looking for experienced Class 1 drivers to join our clients team in Northampton on an Ad-hoc basis.

PM & Night shifts available. Trunking work, NO HANDBALL!

Job Description:

• Responsible for transporting goods to and from various hub locations.
• Safely operate a truck and follow all safety procedures.
• Communicate with dispatchers and office staff regularly to ensure that all services are running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean truck and trailer at all times.
• Maintain good truck and trailer maintenance records.
• Complete daily trip logs and report any problems or incidents to your supervisor.
• Complete required pre-trip inspections of your truck.
• Keep your truck clean, dry, neat, and well-maintained at all times.

Successful candidates will need:

• Previous experience
• Is over 25 and has held a class 1 license for more than 2 years
• Has no more than 6 points for minor offenses
• Holds a Drivers CPC and in date Digital Tachograph
• Is competent, hard working, flexible with a positive attitude and is extremely reliable
• Has good communication and full understanding of written and spoken English

Qualifications: Must have held licence for a minimum of 2 years for insurance proposes
