AEX Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our team!
We are looking for experienced Class 1 drivers to join our clients team in Luton on an Ad-hoc basis.
PM & Night shifts available. Trunking work, NO HANDBALL!
Job Description:
- Responsible for transporting goods to and from various hub locations.
- Safely operate a truck and follow all safety procedures.
- Communicate with dispatchers and office staff regularly to ensure that all services are running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean truck and trailer at all times.
- Maintain good truck and trailer maintenance records.
- Complete daily trip logs and report any problems or incidents to your supervisor.
- Complete required pre-trip inspections of your truck.
- Keep your truck clean, dry, neat, and well-maintained at all times.
Successful candidates will need:
- Previous experience
- Is over 25 and has held a class 1 license for more than 1 year
- Has no more than 6 points for minor offenses
- Holds a Drivers CPC and in date Digital Tachograph
- Is competent, hard working, flexible with a positive attitude and is extremely reliable
- Has good communication and full understanding of written and spoken English
